Glossary

Use this as the dictionary for the product. Terms match what you see in the editor, dashboard, and invoices.

Muse

Fregio’s AI agent. You talk to Muse in the editor. It plans, builds, reviews, and edits a real WordPress site — not a static mockup.

Brief

The first message you send Muse when creating a site. The more specific the business, pages, and tone, the better the first build.

Credit

The unit Fregio meters Muse work in. Builds and edits spend credits from your monthly plan allowance (plus any purchased top-ups).

Site

One isolated WordPress install — its own container, database, preview URL, and files. Plans cap how many sites you can keep.

Preview URL

The HTTPS address Fregio gives you immediately after spin-up. Use it to share and review the site before a custom domain.

Live preview

The iframe in the editor that shows the real WordPress front-end. Muse edits against the page you are looking at.

Edit burst

One Muse turn that changes theme or plugin files. After a successful burst, Fregio saves a restore point.

Restore point

A snapshot of the files Muse changed before an edit. Say “undo” or “roll back” to restore the last safe version.

Builder engine

How the front-end is built: Custom (PHP/Tailwind theme Muse writes) or Elementor (pages as Elementor documents).

Custom theme

A unique WordPress theme Muse authors for your brief. You can export it as a zip on paid plans.

Elementor

The WordPress page builder Muse can install and design in. Use it when you want visual drag-and-drop after launch.

WP admin

The classic WordPress dashboard (/wp-admin). Paid plans expose credentials so you can log in like any other WordPress host.

Spin-up

Provisioning a new isolated WordPress runtime — container, database, latest WordPress, HTTPS — usually under a minute.

Idle sleep

Unused sites pause to save resources. Visiting the preview or opening the editor wakes the site in seconds. Files and the database stay intact.

Custom domain

Your own hostname (example.com) pointed at a Fregio site. Core and above include this plus automatic SSL.

SSL / HTTPS

The certificate that encrypts traffic. Fregio issues and renews it on preview URLs and connected custom domains.

WooCommerce

The WordPress store plugin. Muse can install it, add products, and keep operating the catalog after launch.

Plugin

A WordPress add-on. Because every Fregio site is real WordPress, you can use the same plugin directory as any other host.

Theme export

A zip of the custom theme Muse built. Paid plans can download it and install it on another WordPress host.

Plugin export

A zip of a custom plugin Muse wrote (usually vibewp-*). Third-party plugins like WooCommerce are not exported.

Malware scan

A check of site files for injected or suspicious code. Available on every plan.

Auto-clean

Surgical removal of injected malware without wiping legitimate theme files. Paid plans unlock this.

Fregio badge

A small “built with Fregio” mark on free-tier sites. Paid plans can remove it.

Site type

Muse’s guess at what you are building (restaurant, store, agency, SaaS). It uses this to pick layouts, copy, and plugins.

Site manifest

Muse’s live index of pages, menus, and theme files. It is an index — the files themselves are the source of truth.

Critic / review

A verification pass after a build. Muse looks at the rendered site, not just the generated code, before calling it done.

Migration

Importing an existing WordPress site into Fregio with the migrator plugin, or exporting a Fregio site to move elsewhere.

Project

A folder in the dashboard that groups related sites (for example, a client or a brand).

Demo vs full site

A demo is one complete landing page to try a direction. A full site builds every planned page, nav, and store feature.
